The MC’s parents go off on a three-day trip to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The MC feels disappointed that Sota doesn’t remember their six-month anniversary, but his small actions show her how much he cares for her. One day, her brother’s angry ex-girlfriend shows up at her house and demands to see him. When told that he’s left for a trip of “self discovery,” the ex says that she won’t stop visiting the MC’s home until she let’s her see the brother. Concerned for her safety, Sota and the MC stay together until her parents return.
Excuse me while I recover from Sota’s sequel *screams into pillows*
Sota is a lot more open in this route. While he was shy in his main story, he was a lot more forward in this route. Whether he actually forgot the anniversary is different based on the route you choose, but both routes had me blushing like an idiot >////< The situation in itself awkward for him, because he feels like he’s taking advantage of the MC while her parents are away, and it’s nice to see how much he genuinely cares for her and her family. I love it when the male lead does it this because it means that he realizes that the relationship he has with the MC isn’t just between the two, but also affects their friends and family as well.
Another thing I loved was in the His Place route; they’re both in the mood for sex, but Sota stops when he realizes that he doesn’t have a condom. I love how Voltage is still mentioning the importance of safe sex in FLD, and hope they continue to do so. I definitely recommend this Sota’s sequel, especially if you liked him in his main route. I was blushing throughout the entire happy endings >w< Happy playing!
