It’s been a month since Tsumugu and the MC have started living together, and while he’s been growing more affectionate at home, he still keeps his distance in the office. The MC can’t help but be confused from his hot-and-cold attitude, and her confusion only grows when it turns out that he’s acquainted with the president of the IT firm she’s interviewing! His refusal to talk about his relationship with her worries the MC, when the woman approaches the MC to ask about her own relationship with him?!
Tsumugu has opened up a lot since his main story, and it’s amazing to see how natural and affectionate his interactions with the MC are just a month after they started dating. However, he’s the complete opposite at home, focused on becoming the best at Shiki Publishing and staying away from not only the MC but even the rest of the Seasonelle team because building relationships with them is “unnecessary” in his eyes.
I said I wanted more romance and cute scenes between Tsumugu and the MC, and Voltage didn’t disappoint in this route. From their first month anniversary to smaller moments at home, it was nice to see them act like a couple >w< Tsumugu is a surprisingly big tsundere, though not in a mean way; he’s more of a light tease, and it’s cute to see him blush whenever he gets thrown off by the MC. He’s also surprisingly jealous as well, though most of what causes his jealously comes from his obstinate decision to keep his distance from the MC at the office (though his reasons for doing so are adorable >w< ) While Tsumugu is used to compartmentalizing his life into professional and private due to his different personas, the MC has a harder time doing so. She wants to interact with him more at work, and I liked how after she expressed this to him he makes an effort to do so, which also lead to him getting closer to everyone else on the team XD
Mizuki is introduced in this route, and I’m glad that Voltage decided to introduce a member of Tsumugu’s family, since they played such a large part in the decisions in made in his life. After Nozomu’s sister in TLSL, I was wary of Mizuki at first. However, she’s extremely similar to Tsumugu, and I found myself liking her character in the end. She did cause conflict, but it was honestly in the best interests for Tsumugu and had little to do with her own selfishness, unlike Misa with Nozomu. Her concern for her brother mirrors his for her, and I can’t wait to see the rest of Tsumugu’s siblings being introduced; I’m looking forward to seeing the sibling dynamic between them since they seem to be close (though they may deny it XD )
If you liked Tsumugu in his main story, you’ll definitely love him in his sequel. Though the plot wasn’t as strongly written as the main story, I highly recommend this route. The cute moments between Tsumugu and the MC made it worth it, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for his proposal. He definitely grew on me even more, and hopefully his future routes won’t disappoint. Happy playing!
