After the situation with Ozaki, the MC and Eisuke are closer than ever, but the peaceful days they share are shattered when there’s a low turnout in the usually bustling auctions. They discover that there’s another auction going on in Dubai, and things turn for worse when the locals in the area start protesting the presence of Tres Spades Dubai. Adding to the turmoil, the MC starts to get targeted for reasons unknown, causing Eisuke to take her and return to Japan?!
Eisuke is still as possessive of the MC as ever, and still shows his oresams side often. However, there are moments where he’s adorably sweet to the MC, and overall he seems to have softened up and shows a subtle kindness to her that most people would miss if they didn’t know him well (unfortunately for him, all the auction managers notice and comment on it lol). He teases the MC a lot, and it’s moments where you’re wondering how much Eisuke has changed since his season 1 main that he shows his possessive side; as far as he’s concerned, he should be the MC’s first priority XD
I absolutely loved the MC in this route. She’s determined to be more independent, and is reluctant to let Eisuke take care of things by himself, even when he insists that her knowing things won’t change the situation. Despite that he’s keeping her in the dark about certain things to keep her safe, she refuses to be belittled and says what’s on her mind, which eventually gets him to see that she’s “Eisuke Ichinomiya’s girlfriend” and she feels that she should be able to handle dangerous situations if she wants to be “worthy” of dating him. The MC definitely makes Eisuke reconsider how he’s seen her until now in this route; he comments again and again about how she’s different from other women, and he learns to appreciate and respect her wanting not to rely on him all the time.
Another thing I enjoyed in this route was the plot. It was written extremely well, and full of twists and turns that had me rushing through the story to find out what would happen next. They mention Eisuke’s father in this route, and honestly I’d forgotton all about him until this story; it was a good reminder that not everything has been unearthed from Eisuke’s past yet, and definitely made me look forward for his next route. Towards the end you find out about a possible location change for season 3 uwu
I highly recommend this route, especially if you like Eisuke. Once again, I’m amazed by how much he’s changed since his main story in season 1 (for example, this scene), and he’s definitely risen in the ranks of my favorite Voltage characters. Season 3 routes haven’t been released yet in the JP app, but a friend who plays the JP app says it’ll most likely take place in the UK, which makes sense since Luke is from there and Eisuke and Soryu attended school there as well. Hopefully there’ll be a marriage route release soon >w< Happy playing!
