I started playing otome games in 2014 and got hooked! I currently have an endless backlog of games I need to get through, but I’m trying to fit them in after work ( ; △ ; )
When I first started playing otome games, I couldn’t get enough and sped through the ones I could get my hands on. Looking back now, I feel as though I couldn’t fully enjoy the stories because of how rushed I was while playing them. Though I still can’t get enough, I try to take my time with them now, going through older games that I’ve played and also playing new stories in the growing list of titles that are being localized. Writing these reviews are a means for me to take my time and thoroughly appreciate them by organizing my thoughts. If my opinions can be of any help to you, I hope you’ll keep coming back to read them! ( ´ ▽ ` )
Updates might come (very) slowly due to my many commitments. Please understand this is a hobby and I need to be able to afford the copious amounts of food I consume so work comes first!

Hi Dawn! The game is called Code:Realize. It’s a PS Vita game developed by Otomate, and Aksys is translating it for us and bringing it over in November! >w<

This really happens with a lot of characters that is not the principal or the first to be released, but for me he is the best from OTBS. >_< Have you ever played Kenshi from LLFTX? I really love him, it seems that he and Shusei have a similar personality. :3

Ahh I haven’t played any LLFTX routes yet, but Kenshi definitely caught my eye in the game! Hopefully I’ll get around to playing it soon; I have a feeling that I’ll like him a lot! >w<

What voltage inc. games should I try next? I’d really love your opinion!! I’ve already read (Kiss Me on Clover Hill, Kissed by the baddest bidder, Star Crossed Myth, Our Two Bedroom Story, My Wedding 7 Rings, Scandal in the Spotlight, and Dreamy Days in West Tokyo). I’m not a fan of the really old voltage i.e Pirates in Love and Seduced in Sleepless City, because I don’t like the CG’s they look a little phony. I was going to read Kiss of Revenge, but the prologue seemed a bit slow to me and the character I wanted, Issei, when you chose him on the reviews a lot of people said it started breaking after episode 8 when it asks you for an alternate route, and with an iPhone 4s (really laggy phone) I’d rather not take that chance with my wallet unless it’s really really worth it. But anyway if you could put your favorite Voltage Games that would be great.

If you can try KOR I’d highly recommend it! It’s still one of my favorite Voltage games and you can’t go wrong with any of the stories. My Forged Wedding and Be My Princess are fan favorites and they have a big cast of characters you can choose from! ^^

Hi Yume! I came across your blog while looking for reviews of Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya and read through some others since I play a lot of Voltage games (check their Facebook page daily! lol).
May I ask approximately how long each route in Men of Yoshiwara is? Like yourself, I am a college student with a busy workload, and I don’t want to start something that I can’t finish in 1-2 hours just yet.

Hmm my favorite Voltage game is probably OTBS. Shusei, Chiaki, and Tsumugu are my trinity of weakness; I really love them and their stories are so good :’)
As for Forbidden Romance and SWD, I can’t give a good answer since I haven’t played too many of their stories yet. But hopefully that’ll change soon!
